Sustainability Initiatives
Grabill does its part to be environmentally conscious and sustainable in the production of its products.
Through recycling, Grabill decreases unnecessary usage of local landfills:- Grabill recycles all wood, bronze and aluminum scraps.
- Sawdust is recycled to make wood pellets for wood-burning stoves, and is also used for bedding in horse stables.
- Paper, plastic, and glass are recycled regionally.
- Painting and priming is done at the factory so waste can be properly recycled.
- When shipping, products are padded, wrapped and cornered rather than fully encased to reduce waste.
